VANGUARD
Opening fixtures of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League campaign are set to begin with the new group stage format taking into effect and comes with its time schedule for matches.
The new league phase stage will have 36 teams duking it out over eight matchdays for a place in the round of 16.
New format, new fixture time, 5:45 p.m. WAT and 8 p.m. WAT. The match week will be played over Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
